Everyone wants a summer to remember. Long days, longer nights, sun, friends, good food, and cold drinks. Summer is made for us to enjoy, but these hot and busy days leave puffy eyes, dark circles, and overworked skin. And that skin around the eye? It’s one of the thinnest and most sensitive areas on your entire body. It needs some extra love.
I received a few samples of the Wei Tibetan Chrysanthemum Correcting Eye Treatment Pads and decided to test them out. Each package boasts two large pads, soaked in Tibetan chrysanthemum and mulberry leaf. These key ingredients act to diminish the appearance of puffiness and dark circles by awakening the skin. Isn’t that what we all need?
Although called pads, I’d say they’re more akin to cloth. Regardless, the herb-soaked liquid pads make for a surprisingly cooling and calming treatment. Soaked is not an understatement, I was nervous that the liquid would seep into my eyes. Next time, I’ll squeeze out some of the liquid before placing the pads over my eyes. Also, I’ll remember to open the package with caution – I somehow managed to squirt a bit of the liquid onto my clothing.
Definitely a skeptic going in, after my 10-minute rest, my eyes looked great. The pads seemed to perfectly relieve my tired eyes, restoring my skin to its natural youthful appearance (yes, I just called my skin youthful). I followed the treatment with eye cream and called it a night. When it comes to treating eyes, nothing beats beauty sleep.
